Cervical Screening tests are simple quick procedures to help prevent Cervical Cancer.
They are free for those who are eligible and registered with CervicalCheck.ie.
Please ensure before your test:
- You must not be menstruating (having your period) when due a Cervical Screening.
- Please bring your cervical screening programme letter or the number to the appointment.

Please note: the minimum interval between cervical screening tests is 3+ months. This is to allow cervical cells to regenerate sufficiently to provide an accurate sample for testing.
