What does fertility assessment include?
Our Fertility Assessments include the following:
- A full medical check up including a gynaecological check up.
- Routine and hormonal blood tests, including day 1-5 prolactin, Fsh/LH, thyroid function, SHBG, and progesterone levels after predicted ovulation.
- Pre-conceptual counselling and advice.
- Referral to Fertility Hub or private Fertility specialist if required.
The initial Fertility Assessment is a 30 minute appointment with our of our GPs, who have extensive knowledge in Women’s Health. Your partner is welcome to attend with you if they wish.
A second 15 minute appointment is required to discuss Male health, including Sperm Analysis. This will incur an additional fee of €70.
